Monotype

CorporateDesign Industry

  • Barcelona
  • 3 days
  • 21 assets
  • 5,000 partners reached

The result

Monotype is the largest company in its field. Every year their biggest partners fly in from around the world for the flagship event, but only the people in the room get to see it. We filmed the conference sessions, a promotional film and a series of partner films. The sessions were shared with around 5,000 partners who couldn't be there, and the films are now used by their sales and marketing teams to win new partnerships and clients.

Permian World

Funded StartupDesign Industry

  • London
  • Monthly
  • 2 crew
  • 43 assets

The result

Permian was founded by a former Goldman Sachs banker to open designer trainers up to more people. He had no media presence of his own, so there was nothing to show the quality behind what he was building. He needed work strong enough to put in front of investors, and steady enough to build interest before the first release. The films helped Permian raise funding, got the brand noticed by well known designers in the field, and played a part in a sold out launch.

Fairplay MMA

Sports PromotionSports Industry

  • Amsterdam
  • 1 day
  • 3 crew
  • 8 assets

The result

Fairplay MMA manages more MMA talent than anyone in the Netherlands, with fighters in the UFC and the PFL. They needed attention on a group of fighters before their UFC debuts. New arrivals to the UFC are usually marketed badly. We made theirs look larger than life. The films became some of the most watched content those fighters have released, and brought in sponsorships.

Team GB

National TeamSports Industry

  • London
  • Monthly
  • 2 crew
  • 15 assets

The result

Team GB's rugby sevens squad was preparing for the Olympics. Most of the players were not widely known outside the sport, so there was a chance to build their individual profiles and keep their social channels busy in the run up to the Games. Everything had to match the credibility of an Olympic team. We shot with the squad every month through the build up.

Fittle

Growth BusinessSports Industry

  • London
  • 1 day
  • 3 assets
  • £100k a month

The result

Fittle sells home gym equipment direct to consumers. The product is high margin and priced to match, but it was not converting, and their performance marketing team needed creative strong enough to carry it. What we made became the winning creative on the account, and contributed significantly to Fittle going on to generate £100,000 a month in revenue.

We'll work until it's right.

This is not a performance promise. Nobody can guarantee an algorithm and we won't pretend to. The promise is about the work. Revision rounds are agreed in the quote, typically two per asset. If the film still isn't right, we keep working until it meets the standard we agreed at the start, within reason, and we'll be straight with you about what that covers. What we won't do is hand over something below your standard and call it finished. Our business runs on clients who come back, and that only happens when the work is right.

Common questions.

We already do video in-house, so why would we need you?

Keep making it. In-house teams are built for the weekly rhythm; we handle the days that can't go wrong, like launches, activations and keynotes. Everything we shoot is delivered through Frame.io for your team to use. The two aren't in competition.

We already work with a videographer. What would change?

Keep them. The difference is what turns up on the day. A videographer is one person on one camera, so you get one angle and whatever one person can cover. We work as a production company when it comes to execution, so the cameras and the crew are sized to the job. That means multiple angles, proper sound, and people on set whose only job is to make it look and sound its best. If a job genuinely only needs one person, we'll say so.

Doesn't managing a video project drag on for months?

Not this one. It costs you a call, a sign-off and a review. Everything is confirmed days before the shoot, the day itself is handled by us, and the edit is usually back within 1 to 2 weeks through Frame.io. Ongoing clients just message us on Slack or WhatsApp.

What if we're not sure what we actually need?

That's what the first call is for. Bring the date and the raw ideas; we'll tell you what the day can produce and put deliverables and a price against it. You accept it or you don't.

What do we do with the content afterwards?

That gets decided before we shoot, not after. Every asset is agreed against the channel it's for, so nothing gets handed over without a place to go.

Still got a question? Just ask.

Drop me an email or book a call. I read everything that comes in, and you'll be speaking to me, not a sales team.
